We're a small studio. We work carefully, pack gently, and treat every order with respect. These Terms help us make things clear for you.

1) SCOPES & AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases and use of our website wabelco.com. By placing an order, you confirm you have read and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Shipping & Returns.

2) PRODUCTS, EDITIONS & AVAILABILITY

  • Heritage ceramics: hand-decorated pieces released in numbered, certified editions (edition sizes vary by collection). All pieces are handmade/hand-finished; gentle variations in colour, texture, or placement are natural and part of each work's character. Availability is truly limited and items may sell out at any time. Listing pages are invitations to purchase; we may decline or cancel an order (e.g., out of stock, pricing error) with a prompt refund.

  • Fine Art Prints: museum-quality giclée, limited to 45 per motif, signed & numbered, certificate included.

  • PAINT WITH US Tutorials offered in three formats:

    • WABEL Co. Art Instruction Collectible print tutorial editions — limited print runs, numbered, certified; shipped worldwide for free. 

    • WABEL Co. Signature PDF Lesson editions - our subscription format

    • WABEL Co. Petite PDF Lessons - Occasional PDFs with smaller folk-art scenes



3) PRICING, CURRENCY & TAXES

Prices are shown in CZK and are final end-consumer prices. Where applicable, prices include VAT. For orders shipped outside the EU (including the USA), we do not deduct or refund VAT — the listed price remains the same. Any local duties or taxes charged by your country (if any) are the customer's responsibility.

4) ORDERS & PAYMENT

Place orders via our website checkout. Payment is captured when you complete checkout. You'll receive an email confirmation. If a product is unavailable after purchase, we'll contact you to offer a refund or alternative.

5) SHIPPING & DELIVERY 

FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE

We ship from the EU (Czech Republic) to the USA and worldwide with free, insured shipping. Within the EU, no customs duties apply. Outside the EU (including the USA), your local customs office may charge duties/taxes; these are paid by the customer. We include all paperwork to help smooth customs clearance. Our store prices are final and not reduced for non-EU destinations.

In-stock items dispatch within 3 business days — usually the next morning. Made-to-order editions: please allow 1–2 weeks for hand-finishing and quality checks. 

Parcels are insured and shipped via carriers with their own air network where possible for faster long-distance delivery. Risk of loss passes upon delivery to your address. Full details are in Shipping & Returns.


6) DIGITAL DOWNLOADS (PDF tutorials)

Website delivery is by email within a few minutes of payment. For instant downloads, we also offer our Etsy shop. 
By starting a download you give explicit consent to immediate digital delivery and acknowledge that the 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies once the download begins. If a file doesn't arrive or opens incorrectly, email us and we'll resend it.

7) RETURNS & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWL (EU) and our global return policy

You may return most physical products purchased online within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Items must be unused and carefully repacked in the original packaging; return shipping is paid by the customer. We refund within 5 days of receiving the returned item in good condition (we may withhold the refund until the goods arrive back).

Exceptions (not returnable):

  • Custom/personalised items made especially for you

  • Opened digital products (tutorial PDFs once the download has begun)

8) DAMAGED, LOST, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If something arrives damaged, please photograph the parcel and item within 48 hours and email us. We will replace or refund. Lost parcels are investigated with the carrier; once confirmed, we replace or refund. If we sent the wrong item, we'll correct it at our cost.

Extremely limited replacements (Heritage Editions): We keep a small archive reserve (about 5 pieces) to cover transit damage. Replacement pieces may carry a different edition number than your original.

9) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All artworks, images, text, designs and tutorials are the intellectual property of Ivana Havelková / WABEL Co. Unless we grant written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content or products. Purchasing a product (physical or digital) gives you a personal, non-commercial right to enjoy it; it does not grant a licence to reproduce or teach it commercially.


10) PERSONAL DATA & COOKIES

We process personal data to fulfil your order, communicate with you, and keep our studio running. See our Privacy Policy for details, your rights, and cookie choices.

11) ERRORS, OMISSIONS & COLOURS

We aim for accuracy, but occasional typographical or photographic errors may occur. Screen colours vary; minor differences between on-screen images and the piece you receive are to be expected.

12) PROMOTIONS, COUPONS & NEWSLETTER

From time to time we offer gentle promotions (e.g., a 10% coupon as thank-you for PDF email delivery). Coupons are not transferable, may have an expiry date, and cannot be combined unless stated. Newsletter subscriptions are optional and can be cancelled at any time via the link in each email.

13) GOVERNING LAW  & DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic (EU). Mandatory consumer protection laws of your place of residence may also apply. If we cannot resolve a concern together, EU/EEA consumers may use their local consumer authority or the EU ODR platform. Customers outside the EU (including the USA) can contact us directly; we will work with you in good faith to resolve any issue. 

14) LIABILITY 

We are liable only for foreseeable losses caused by our breach of these Terms or negligence. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, for personal injury caused by negligence or for statutory consumer rights).

15) FORCE MAJEURE

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, war, strikes, carrier disruptions, governmental restrictions, power or internet outages).

16) CHANGES TO THESE TERMS 

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is published on our website with the effective date above.
